2026 Fasting Schedule
Fasting is not starvation or an involuntary absence of food; it is abstaining from food for spiritual reasons. Fasting doesn’t move God; it moves us closer to Him.

February Scriptures & Prayer Points
Fasting Dates: February 2 - 4, 2026
February 2, 2026
DAY ONE - Faith
  • John 14:23 TPT Jesus replied, “Loving me empowers you to obey my word. And my Father will love you so deeply that we will come to you and make you our dwelling place.

True obedience is born out of love, not obligation. Jesus reminds us that loving Him empowers us to obey His Word. It’s not about striving to meet a list of spiritual requirements - it’s about allowing love to produce obedience naturally. When we truly love Him, His Word becomes our delight, not our duty. God’s Word carries the very power needed to live it out. As we align our hearts with His truth, the Holy Spirit strengthens us to walk in obedience that flows from intimacy.

Obedience is not a burden - it’s a reflection of belonging. When we choose to obey, it pleases the Father and invites even greater measures of His love. His commands are not meant to restrict us, but to protect us and position us for His blessing. The more we walk in step with His Word, the freer we become. Let love lead your obedience today. Let every “yes” to God draw you closer to His heart, where His Word becomes your way of life and His presence your home.

Prayer:    Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, let my love for You be revealed through my obedience. May my actions speak louder than my words, and may my heart delight in pleasing You. Thank You for choosing me even when I strayed, and for restoring me through Your Son. Empower me to live in full surrender to Your Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

DAY TWO : Family
  • Psalm 73:28 NASB
“But as for (your family), the nearness of God is our good; we have made the Lord God our refuge, That we may tell of all Your works.”

Pull your family close and prayer over one another. Take communion together and invite Him to be near.  Write out a family declaration. Decree the blessings of Yahweh over you + yours.
May the Spirt of the Living God hit your living rooms like never before. 🔥

  • ‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭15‬ ‭NASB
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.”

DAY THREE : Fire

  • Hebrews 12:29 NASB
for our God is a consuming fire.
  • Psalm 119:40
Behold, I long for Your precepts; Revive me through Your righteousness.
  • Luke 24:32
They said to one another, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He was speaking to us on the road, while He was explaining the Scriptures to us?”

In Scripture, fire represents the presence of God, His purity, and His power.
On the altar of the Old Testament, fire was never meant to go out. In the New Covenant, your heart is that altar.

Fasting makes room for fresh fire. It positions you where the Holy Spirit can burn away what does not belong and ignite what has grown cold.  Many believers love God, yet their prayer life is faint, their worship is dry, and their passion is low.  The issue is not that God has changed. The fire has simply been buried under the ashes of distraction, disappointment, and compromise. When you fast, you are clearing the altar. You are saying, “Lord, breathe on these coals again.”

Ask the Lord today for fresh fire. Not emotional hype, but holy intensity. A burning love for Jesus that cannot be silenced. A desire for His presence that is stronger than your desire for
comfort.

Let Him consume you today. ❤️‍🔥
